체대를 다니고 있는 싸이클 선수 제갈 탁은 장난기가 많은 성격이다. 하숙집 면학분위기를 해친다는 주의를 듣고 쫓겨나게 된 탁은 갈 곳이 없어 수소문을 한 끝에 학생부부인 친구 승현과 준희의 셋방을 찾아가 더부살이를 하기에 이른다. 깨가 쏟아지는 신혼부부 사이에서 부대끼며 지내던 탁은 결국 하숙집 아주머니를 설득해 다시 하숙집으로 들어가고 달라진 면모를 보여주기 시작한다. 전국체전에 출전하게 된 탁은 그 해에 우승컵을 안게 된다.
