王吉祥与章苗苗相约去监狱探望骆歆，但是骆歆直言章苗苗是警察，跟他不合适，他决定和章苗苗彻底断绝来往。苗苗很是伤心。陈晓静打着徐先军的旗号请周建斌去家里聚会，实则是让徐先军和钱三江当说客，希望周建斌能担任新建的罗塘警务站站长。周建斌一再推辞，但陈晓静早有预料，偷偷请了丛海棠来帮着劝说。丛海棠告知众人，当初她是因为生气周建斌不顾家，才任性写了检举信说周建斌家暴，又直言周建斌不想当警务站站长是因为自己的病，众人这才知道丛海棠患了肌无力。周建斌也说自己年轻的时候只顾工作，没好好照顾过妻子，现在想多点时间陪陪她，所以不想当官。但丛海棠深知周建斌对罗塘的记挂，理解他对职业的热爱，支持他当警务站站长。周建斌终于答应。
