　　赶到钱宅的花逢春得知龙头又落入日本人手中，愤恨不已，决心要誓死夺回龙头。为了缨儿的安危，逢春故意赶缨儿回厦门。内疚万分的缨儿即将上船，高桥血突然出现，将龙头还给缨儿。两人依依惜别的情景正好被前来偷偷为缨儿送行的逢春撞个正着。秦九嘱咐已找到龙头的缨儿不要轻举妄动。回到厦门搬援兵的胖三得知龙头已到手，自告奋勇要帮秦九洗清罪名。花逢春以谋杀智子的罪名被逮捕并判处死刑，高桥血表示只要钱牧庸帮忙救出逢春，他就承认自己的身世。秦九埋怨缨儿擅自将龙头交与胖三。钱牧庸通过行贿使花逢春免于一死并让其回到厦门。面对缨儿的诘问，胖三告诉缨儿已将龙头运往北平，并表示自己要靠龙头发达起来。
